  • Product Description

    This fully hands-on workshop is designed for anyone who wants to reproduce a favourite piece, heirloom or an original sculpture. You will make your own sculpture mould, cast the piece and finish it!

    During the workshop you will learn about:

    * Mould design for sculptures
    * Single and two-piece moulds
    * Casting options
    * Painting, coatings and patina finishes
    * Cold cast bronze/brass

    At the beginning of the sculpture workshop you will each be given a moulding kit with 500g of silicon and 500g of resin. Any unused resin or silicon are yours to take away after the class. Resin pigments, paints, brushes and other materials are also supplied.

    You will then discuss the nature of the sculpture you wish to reproduce. Perhaps you have your own original idea or maybe you have brought in a sculpture or a photo of a sculpture you wish to replicate. If it's practical, given time and material restraints, we will help you work with it.

    After making your mould you will cast the piece and finish it. You'll then have your own handmade casted sculpture to take home! This workshop is also a fun way to meet new people with similar interests.
