Session Length:

This experience is available seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year?s Day. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability and minimum numbers being met. The ride departs at 9.30am ? but you need to arrive at 9am ? and returns at approximately 3.30pm.

Guidelines:

There is a maximum weight limit of 110kg for inexperienced riders. You must be eight years of age or over to be eligible for this experience and riders must not have any medical conditions that will hinder their safety during the ride. We can cater for people with any level of riding ability.

Dress Code:

Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. It is best to wear layers so that you can regulate your temperature. You will need to wear closed-in shoes and jeans. Thongs and shorts are not suitable. We have a limited amount of wet-weather gear so it is recommended that you bring something along.

Other Info:

You will need to sign a waiver on the day, prior to participating in this experience. Remember to bring sunscreen, insect repellent and your camera! Please advise us at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requirements.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. Numbers in the group may vary from anywhere between one and 30 people. In some cases we will require a minimum of two participants for the ride.

During this exhilarating horse riding adventure you?ll ride to the beautiful Cox?s River. You?ll travel into deep gullies and along high ridges amid stunning scenery of lush pastures, rugged mountains and pristine wilderness.

So if you?re looking for a real Australian adventure, then this horse riding experience is perfect for you. It is a great way to see the spectacular Blue Mountains and spend a day of excitement and sightseeing out in the fresh air.

When you arrive you will be matched with a horse that compliments your level of riding experience. We are renowned for our wide range of quality horses. We have over 100 horses of differing temperaments for you to choose from. This trail ride is perfect for beginners. At the guide?s discretion, more experienced riders may be able to break away from the group at intervals during the ride.

Your ride leaves from the farmyard and slowly meanders through paddocks, up along ridges, and then down through the wilderness. You will ride to Cox?s River, one of the most beautiful rivers in Australia with its huge granite boulders, deep gorges and canyons.

Your trail ride will take you over beautiful farming country and you will see horses, cattle, sheep and dogs along the way. You may also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some of the native animals that live here. You may get to see wallabies, kangaroos, goannas or even dingoes during your horse ride.

Our property is very large and is located in the heart of the Blue Mountains, which is a World Heritage listed area. Our guides are friendly, highly skilled and love the outdoors. They will thoroughly enjoy showing you around this unique and picturesque environment.

After approximately three hours of riding we?ll stop for lunch. Depending on weather conditions, we will stop for a picnic lunch on the way or have lunch at a nearby pub-style steakhouse.

After lunch you will continue on your trail ride, returning to the riding centre in the mid-afternoon.
