The Honda CBR600RR is set up for the track in all the race trim, with exhaust, race tyres and tyre warmers. At the racetrack there are stands and a pit garage. If you have ever dreamed about being a professional motorcycle racer, then this is your chance to see what it?s like!
The track day starts bright and early at 7.30am when you arrive at the racetrack, sign on, fill out the required paperwork and show your motorcycle licence to the staff. You will also be graded according to your riding experience and ability and given a graded group armband to wear throughout the day. After this you?ll meet the team who will be looking after you for the day and get acquainted with your Honda CBR600RR! Your team will make sure the levers and gearing are in fine working order and that everything is ready for you.
At 9am there is a compulsory briefing for all riders. The briefing covers the safety points for the day, the flags that are used and what you can expect. Then the fun begins!
Throughout the day you will be taking turns racing on the track within your graded group ? beginners, intermediate or advanced. All things going to plan, you should get seven ride sessions throughout the day, so you will spend approximately 15-20 minutes on the track each hour. It is also possible to change groups throughout the day, depending on your speed, comfort and competence.
Tea, coffee, Milo, water and orange drink as well as lollies and cookies are available free of charge. There is a canteen from which you may purchase food and drinks, or you are welcome to bring your own food if you wish.
There will also be a digital photographer on the track taking photos so you can have a fantastic memoir of the day to share with family and friends! These are available for purchase after the event.
Please note: In the event of rescheduling you must provide at least 48 hours notice and you will be charged a 25% administration fee.
